America needs more STEM professionals. According to a 2012 report, we'll have to increase the number of STEM college graduates by 34% annually to keep up with the STEM economy. Role models play a critical role in encouraging girls to enter STEM, but fewer than 50% of girls know a woman in STEM. Chevron is partnering with various organizations to inspire more girls to enter STEM.
